How to Start Programming Games

03:09
Explain to me how to start programming games. First, learn programming. I’ve heard that you do not have to learn a programming language anymore. There are basic interfaces that let you build games on their frameworks, selecting backgrounds and figures and behavioral characteristics for the creatures. It’s innovative. How is a tool that lets you build games without coding innovative? It brought gaming to the level of non-programmers, the way IBM made everyone a computer user without having to be an MS in programming. Way before my time. You could use Stencyl to create games for iOS and Android. Stencyl is not the only one. I’ve heard there is a whole suite of tools for gaming without programming, using plug and play interfaces the way SharePoint simplified interface development. I would not call SharePoint simple for anything except enterprise application development, the way Calculus 2 is easy to differential equation gurus. But there are options like GameSalad, Scira and even an RPG Maker. I can imagine people using the RPG maker to make role playing games. That’s what RPG stands for. RPG Maker is by Avantage, and is designed to let you create role playing games without knowing how to code. I do not want to do RPG. GameSalad Creator is better for complex games, though you cannot do as much with the free version as you can the advanced package that costs a few hundred dollars. I’d rather use a free solution. JumpCraft has a good basic game building website. Buildbox lets you build games and even has tips on how to monetize it. That plan usually begins and ends with put it on the Appstore. Appstore is only for the iOS. You have to go for Google Play and Android if you want to tap into a bigger market than everyone who wears Apple gear. I’ve heard GameSalad even lets you export games to executables that can be played on the Playstation, Nintendo and Xbox. But I want to write a game that anyone can play on anything. So start learning how to code games in JavaScript that can run in someone’s browser session. That’ll run on a smartphone or PC. Where can I learn that? First option is finding existing JavaScript games running on a website; for simple ones, copy and paste that code to your own system and learn by manipulating it. That seems to be a common way to learn JavaScript anyway. Java is also used for web based games, but getting the code is more complicated; I’d start reading books on Java and gaming. I thought Java was obsolete. Not with Java Server Pages getting a boost in popularity with its higher efficiency and greater user load on servers. Someone told me I have to learn how to program in C to create games. C used to be the standard for 3D and shoot-em-up games, but that is not mandatory anymore. The hardware is finally fast enough to keep up with most games unless you’re doing something like Halo or Gears of War. If someone is playing a shoot-em-up, it will be Halo or Gears of War, or a 1980s throw back for weird nostalgia reasons.

"I believe, if we continue down the path we're currently on, yes, we can teach every young person to code. But I also think, that we're going to teach them that coding is something that's learned through memorization and that coding is something where there's one right answer." Zach offers a new perspective. Zach Latta is the co-founder and executive director of Hack Club, where he works to bring coding clubs to high schools worldwide. Before Hack Club, he built the backend architecture for Yo – an app with more than 3 million users. Before that he helped launch and grow a game to over 1 million users, reaching #1 in the games category on the App Store. How games are made -a game programming video (netbeans, j2me, speeded up)

04:28
This is just a video of me coding some simple game stuff using Netbeans and testing it in the wireless tool kit. I have speeded it up a bit. This is generally how games are made, code a bit, compile, test, code a bit more, compile test - repeat for a year or so :-) When speeded up it looks a lot nicer, more like an artist tweaking his canvas.

Python programming for beginners: What can you do with Python?

03:57
Python Programming Language: What can you do with Python? Get discount here: https://ecoursereview.com/python Read article: https://ecoursereview.com/fun-python-project-what-can-you-do-with-python/ As a general purpose programming language, Python can be used for multiple things. Python can be easily used for small, large, online and offline projects. The best options for utilizing Python are web development, simple scripting and data analysis. Below are a few examples of what Python will let you do: Web Development: You can use Python to create web applications on many levels of complexity. There are many excellent Python web frameworks including, Pyramid, Django and Flask, to name a few. Data Analysis: Python is the leading language of choice for many data scientists. Python has grown in popularity, within this field, due to its excellent libraries including; NumPy and Pandas and its superb libraries for data visualization like Matplotlib and Seaborn. Machine Learning: What if you could predict customer satisfaction or analyze what factors will affect household pricing or to predict stocks over the next few days, based on previous years data? There are many wonderful libraries implementing machine learning algorithms such as Scikit-Learn, NLTK and TensorFlow. Computer Vision: You can do many interesting things such as Face detection, Color detection while using Opencv and Python. Internet Of Things With Raspberry Pi: Raspberry Pi is a very tiny and affordable computer which was developed for education and has gained enormous popularity among hobbyists with do-it-yourself hardware and automation. You can even build a robot and automate your entire home. Raspberry Pi can be used as the brain for your robot in order to perform various actions and/or react to the environment. The coding on a Raspberry Pi can be performed using Python. The Possibilities are endless! Game Development: Create a video game using module Pygame. Basically, you use Python to write the logic of the game. PyGame applications can run on Android devices. Web Scraping: If you need to grab data from a website but the site does not have an API to expose data, use Python to scraping data. Writing Scripts: If you're doing something manually and want to automate repetitive stuff, such as emails, it's not difficult to automate once you know the basics of this language. Browser Automation: Perform some neat things such as opening a browser and posting a Facebook status, you can do it with Selenium with Python. GUI Development: Build a GUI application (desktop app) using Python modules Tkinter, PyQt to support it. Rapid Prototyping: Python has libraries for just about everything. Use it to quickly built a (lower-performance, often less powerful) prototype. Python is also great for validating ideas or products for established companies and start-ups alike. Python can be used in so many different projects. If you're a programmer looking for a new language, you want one that is growing in popularity. As a newcomer to programming, Python is the perfect choice for learning quickly and easily. Python offers a stepping stone into the world of programming. --- What Can You Do With Python? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxGB7LU4i1I --- Search terms: What can I do with Python python programming language for beginners python tutorial for beginners learn python scripting learn to code python learn python fast why you should learn python programming how to learn python learn python from scratch how to learn python for beginners learn python online best way to learn python Python programming for beginners #PythonCourse #learnpython --- Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/EcourseReviews Twitter: https://twitter.com/EcourseReviews G+: https://plus.google.com/+Ecoursereview/posts Website: https://ecoursereview.com/

Feeling overwhelmed yet before you even began your journey as a software developer? If so, good! The point of this video is to discuss all of that in a simple way and clarify common misconceptions among beginning coders when they are about to start. We discuss different programming languages and suggest which language you should perhaps start off with first. You can always switch over later! The important thing is to understand the concepts in a computer programming language especially as a beginner. Do not try to deal with both conceptual difficulty and syntactical difficulty at the same time. Imagine if you never knew any human language and you tried to start off by learning Japanese as an adult, that would be really tough. Start simple, learn the concepts, then transition to another language. We will talk about which languages to avoid as a beginner! ★☆★ MY PROJECT AGILE DIRECTIONS: ★☆★ https://goo.gl/rYFyR8 I worked on this project with my friend. Never knew ANY Javascript but picked it up within one day and built this whole thing together with my friend in about 1-2 days. The idea behind the app is to be able to download commonly visited locations on an excel sheet and print them so when your GPS dies on you... You are still good to go. I did a lot of private chess lessons and I depended on my GPS for the job. However, sometimes it died on me in very critical situations and that almost got me fired from my job. This app was made for people who can use this in order to not have to rely on GPS solely to get to their destination. ------------------------------------ Clever Programmer Website ► http://cleverprogrammer.com Facebook ► http://cleverprogrammer.to/facebook Twitter ► http://cleverprogrammer.to/twitter Instagram ► http://cleverprogrammer.to/instagram YouTube ► https://www.youtube.com/c/CleverProgrammer Snapchat ► Rafeh1 ... The First Programming Languages: Crash Course Computer Science #11

11:52
Get your first two months of CuriosityStream free by going to http://curiositystream.com/crashcourse and using the promo code “crashcourse”. So we ended last episode with programming at the hardware level with things like plugboards and huge panels of switches, but what was really needed was a more versatile way to program computers - software! For much of this series we’ve been talking about machine code, or the 1’s and 0’s our computers read to perform operations, but giving our computers instructions in 1’s and 0’s is incredibly inefficient, and a “higher-level” language was needed. This led to the development of assembly code and assemblers that allow us to use operands and mnemonics to more easily write programs, but assembly language is still tied to underlying hardware. So by 1952 Navy officer Grace Hopper had helped created the first high-level programming language A-0 and compiler to translate that code to our machines. This would eventually lead to IBM’s Fortran and then a golden age of computing languages over the coming decades. Most importantly, these new languages utilized new abstractions to make programming easier and more powerful giving more and more people the ability to create new and amazing things. Content linked to specialist interests like local areas isnt always commercially viable for general release, but might get a paying audience pubg items if distributed locally.
The same is true for paragraph styles. You keep contemplating the simple fact that youve arrived at the airport a few hours ahead of your flight leaves and you dont desperado crate need some useful stranger hanging around all that moment, rolling you to and from the restroom or sitting around while youve got a beer in the neighborhood airport pub. Actually, among the main reasons KeSPA existed at all was to run Proleague as an advertising vehicle for its constituent company teams. The very best idea is to simply keep nibbling on toast.
The question doesnt need to be long to be a fantastic question necessarily. Both questions are pubg items excessively short, however, and dont permit the prospect for a player with advanced knowledge to answer the question before a typical player. Demographic questions have their place and desperado crate dont will need to get included in whatever you do and ensure the questions that you ask have no ulterior motive.
